Hang it. Hold it. Stick it. Balance it. The new portable LED safety warning lights from NARVA is so amazingly versatile it can be used anywhere.

Forget about a separate warning light for individual applications. If you’ve ever wanted a strobe light that can be used in a number of situations, this is the light for you.

NARVA calls it the ‘Sentry’ LED strobe, but you’ll call it bloody brilliant.

Handy in size - just 106mm diameter at the base and 119mm in height - the ‘Sentry’ comes with a variety of attachment options. Included in its design is a strong magnetic base that sticks to the roof or cab of a vehicle. Plus, it has a heavy-duty cord attached to the lens, allowing it to be tied on or suspended from a ladder, post or any other object, thus providing excellent versatility on a work site. And if that’s not enough, the magnetic base can be swapped for a 45mm base-mounted handle that allows the strobe to be used as a traffic hand wand – the handle has been made so that it can fit into the opening of large traffic cones for static use.

According to Don Tennet, of NARVA New Zealand, the ‘Sentry’ is something that the industrial, construction, road building, safety and maintenance industries have been crying out for and he expects it to become a best-seller in these markets.

“It’s probably the most versatile warning light of its kind that I have ever seen and being LED, it is practically maintenance free and utterly reliable,” he says.

An on/off weatherproof switch, complete with a rubber boot, is among the features that makes it ideal for all-weather use. An internal slide switch activates a light sensor, turning the lamp on when darkness descends and off when daylight returns. This allows the lamp to be left on site and in use only when required, without draining the batteries during daylight hours

The ‘Sentry’ LED strobe is powered by two common ‘D’ size dry cell batteries providing more than 100 hours of life for this convenient portable warning lamp.
